Admission Criteria

We provide an inclusive provision for children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and whose primary need is Speech, Language and Communication (SLCN).

The BCP Local Authority is responsible for the consultation for placement of children attending the SLCN Base at Canford Heath Junior School and will work in partnership with TEACH Trust to appropriately place children.

The BCP Local Authority is also responsible for the funding of children attending the SLCN Base.
